Dr. Denise Billings is a board certified optometric physician who is strongly committed to community service. A native of Waterford, Michigan, she graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology, and received her Doctor of Optometry degree with distinction from Ferris State College of Optometry in Big Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Billings brings more than 20 years of experience to her optometry practice, specializing in contact lenses, pediatric optometry and low vision.

Since moving to southwest Florida in 1986, Dr. Billings has become involved in many areas of community life. Outdoor adventures are an important part of Dr. Billings’ life. Whether it’s jogging, swimming or boating, she enjoys Florida’s fresh air and sunshine as much as possible. Her love of adventure is shared by her husband, Rick, who is also an optometric physician. They live in Nokomis with their two children.
