Dr. Trisha D. Werner received her B.S. in Biology from the University of South Dakota at Vermillion and her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry in St. Louis, Mo.

In 2001, Dr. Werner began her own private optometric practice in Sarasota, providing primary eye care and participating in co-management of ocular disease.

Prior to opening her own practice, she worked with area private practices and served as an independent contractor within Royal Optical and JCPenney Optical in Springfield, Mo., JCPenney Optical in Sarasota and Port Charlotte, and Visionworks in Port Charlotte.
